Dr. Kendra Thompson-Dyck currently serves as Director of Institutional Research & Insights in University Analytics & Institutional Research (UAIR).  Previously, she led the Assessment & Research team within Student Success where her team stewarded data projects on student experiences and outcomes, including campuswide survey consultation and coordination. Her team also led analysis on the University of Arizona’s inaugural C-STAR (Completion Strategies for Acceleration and Refinement) project, which included VIP as one of four awardees.  

Kendra has worked as an academic and applied researcher for the past two decades. Her portfolio includes projects funded by the National Science Foundation, the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, the Department of Education, and the Arizona Innovation Alliance funded through the Arizona Board of Regents.  As a proud first-generation college student, Kendra holds an MA and PhD from the University of Arizona’s School of Sociology, and a BA from Seattle Pacific University.
